Whisky was beautiful big black labrador/border collie cross who was loved by us all.We sadly had to have him put to sleep when his legs eventually gave up on him.He leaves behind his little pal Jasper who is missing him greatly.

You can't be here with us to celebrate your birthday Whisky but we will never forget the lovable big black teddy bear.You were so tiny when I brought you home but you soon made yourself at home curling up on the rug in front of the fire.wishing you were still here with us Love Mum and Jasper
Missing You
Well whisky its 2 year since you left us and i can still see you running down the garden.It broke my heart when i had to leave you but it was the kindest thing to do.You had been in so much pain that i didn't think it was fair to let you suffer.You are in a much better place now where you are able to run and be pain free.God bless you ,your mum xxxxx
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and they are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by. The animals are so happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together each day, but then the day comes when one suddenly stops and peers into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
YOU have been spotted, and when you finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved soft head, and you finally get to look once again into the loving eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.

Precious Love
The agony is so great...
and yet I will stand it.

Hi Whisky,we have had a lot of snow (your favourite) over Christmas and its trying to snow tonight,New years Eve 2009.Tomorrow will be 2010 and on 19th January it will be 2years since we lost you,I miss you every day and so does your Pal jasper,sleep tight Whisky,love and miss you lots love mum xxxxxxxx
Missing you
Well Whisky we are about to go into March and the weather is picking up. We had some snow a few weeks ago and we missed you tearing to the gate.It was the first time Jasper had experienced snow and we couldnt keep him in.He still misses you and so do I.Hope there is some snow in heaven Love Mum xxxxx
